Martiki, a tropical cocktail – 150 calories

Aloha! Everyone needs to take a break from time to time, and I find that a fruity drink makes everything better. At only 150 calories you can enjoy this fun cocktail and not feel guilty.
If you choose a Tiki Mug over a Martini Glass then fill with ice before you pour. Keep an eye out for my Rum Chicken coming soon, it would pair perfectly with this drink and makes for a great Cocktail Party!
What you will need to serve 2 cocktails-
- 4 oz Spiced Rum (Captain Morgan)
- ½ cup blended fresh pineapple
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 2 Maraschino cherries
Fill a martini shaker ⅔ full of ice, add the rum, pineapple and lime juice shake vigorously. If it is still a little thick let it set for a minute and shake again. Place a cherry at the bottom of your martini glass or Tiki mug, strain the mixture into the glass, top with umbrella and add any fun garnishes you have.
There is a lot of potassium and calcium in this drink, so if it helps, tell yourself that this will build strong muscles and bones… but I don’t need an excuse to enjoy a Tiki drink. And if you attend the annual Tiki Caliente in Palm Springs and you come across our room party you just might get a taste of this cocktail from the source. Aloha!
